We will be reading together Juan Oliver’s book The Shape of Worship. This short and accessible book explores the foundations of Episcopal liturgy and how ritual forms our spiritual lives and creates community. At the end of our reading, Dr Oliver has agreed to meet with St Paul’s and answer our questions about the book and talk about worship and our worship space. I had the privilege of meeting Juan at the Baptized for Life conference a few months ago. He is thoughtful, a great speaker, and is also heading up the new Spanish translation of the Book of Common Prayer.
